WORKSHOP // Scrap Evening vol. 1 - Scrappy collage

At TYPA, we treat sustainability very seriously, always. Art, on the other hand - only from time to time. Which is why we are launching a new cycle of events: the Scrap Evenings! Our main goal is to reduce waste in creative ways, hopefully making friends on the way. We will be using scrap materials to make collages, zines, notebooks, paper sheets and whatever else we can think of - your ideas are more than welcome!

The very first Scrap Evening will take place on Wednesday 26th March at 5:30 PM! This time the theme is collage. It can be a postcard, a poster or a bookmark, it can be about something you like, something you hate or something you are still processing, it can be pretty, ugly or anything in between. We are drowning in pages from old books and magazines - let’s play with them, without thinking too much of the outcome!

The events are our voluntary project, carried out by TYPA’s ESC volunteer Asia and education manager Karoliina. Participation is donation based, which means that you can choose to support us with some money. But a silly joke or simply your presence is also a valid form of contribution! No registration is required - there will be enough materials, tools and cups of tea for everybody.

Grab your friends and visit TYPA to craft, play, chat and co-create this creative space with us. The first rule of Scrap Club is to have fun and be yourself!
