WORKSHOP// Moving space

Location: the former Haki Gallery and the soon-to-open Kett Gallery.
Thanks to the kind permission of the Aparaditehas, we can use this wonderful space, which, with its originality, offers new possibilities for movement and allows us to see it in a completely new light. Dance and movement give new life to the spaces and create unexpected encounters with the environment.
Moving Space is designed to experiment and take on different challenges through movement - space is one of them. The Kett gallery also offers exciting spatial challenges with its diverse architecture. One space is a classic "whitebox" - windowless and white - while the other is large, spacious and industrial, with windows opening directly onto Kastan Street. This makes us visible not only to pedestrians, but also to motorists who can catch a glimpse of our activities when they stop behind a traffic light. It is this very nuance that adds a special dimension to the Moving Space session.
In addition, this spacious space also features a balcony and a metal spiral staircase painted red, bringing new possibilities to the moving space. What's also special is that the space is not yet fully ready for the Kett gallery - which means that as early as next week it will be transformed into a unique street art gallery. We, however, will be able to experience this moment of transition, to discover the boundaries and limitations of the space before it finally takes shape.

As always, we will make different compositions and guided improvisations, taking into account the specificities of the space. The class is suitable for all dance enthusiasts - beginners as well as professionals who want to broaden their movement practice!
Price: 10 €, 5 € for students
Wear: layered clothes, long socks and stockings may help this time as the floor can be a bit chilly!
And just in case - the next Moving Space will take place in the same place on 16 February at 17:00!
