EXHIBITION // "GARDEN CREATED WITH LOVE" Linda Mai Kari

This compact residential garden offers a bit of everything—beautiful views, playfully carefree and unexpected combinations, and, of course, captivating and practical solutions. The design of this garden highlights an elegant, balanced ecosystem between human and nature, creating a stylish atmosphere where every detail is carefully considered and harmoniously placed. This space-saving garden is admirable both in daylight and at dusk, providing visual pleasure at any time of the day.
"Garden created with love" views gardening as a form of creative self-expression. By exploring the desire to shape and decorate our surroundings, we soon also notice the urge to intervene in what nature has decided for us. The exhibition examines common aesthetics to reflect canons of representativeness, along with the strange and eerie dimensions of everyday beauty that accompany them.
Linda Mai Kari is an artist and scenographer, born and raised in Tartu. In her work, she explores the so-called inevitabilities of being human, striving to observe humans as a species in their everyday peculiarities. She is interested in the feeling of emptiness and the ways people try to fill it. Her creations often carry an ironic and kitschy tone, playing with agreed-upon notions of beauty and taste.
The exhibition opening will take place on August 30th at 20:00 during Gallery Night.
