EXHIBITION // „Metamorfoos“

Artists' book exhibition "Metamorphosis" in the Balcony Gallery of the Aparaaditehas Factory.
On Friday, January 10, at 16:00, the exhibition "Metamorphosis" will be opened in the balcony gallery of Aparaaditehas.

The exhibition "Metamorphosis" invites viewers to reflect on processes of change, presenting the theme through a thoroughly personal and versatile medium - the artist's book. Each author highlights in his or her work what is important for him or her in the process of transformation. The artist's books in the exhibition thus offer a unique perspective on growth and development, the beauty and pain of transformation.

The exhibition reveals the twists and turns of human life, the cyclical nature of the universe and the tireless teeth of rust. Existential fears are also captured on the pages of the books, making them a little safer. It also looks at how time leaves its mark, and how nostalgia plays with our sense of the past. As artist's books, personal themes become shared narratives, inviting us to reflect on how we ourselves metamorphose and cope with a troubled world. In the end, we are all moths in the wind.

The exhibition will feature: Mariah Buhagiar, Tatiana Gauci, Sandra Grima, Davit Jebashvili, Kersti Katerina Kaplan, Jüri Kaarel Runnel, Heli Saar, Aliyah Zarb.
Course instructors.

The exhibition is open until 16 February in the balcony gallery of the Aparaaditehas.

The balcony gallery is located above the Aparade Restaurant. The gallery can be accessed from door number 7, both through the Fahrenheit 451 book room and directly from the staircase on the second floor. The Balcony Gallery is open Mon-Fri 12:00-18:00 and Fri 12:00-17:00.
