EXHIBITION // HAKI galerii muuseum: Edward von Lõngus “President Pätsi mitu nägu"
HAKI Gallery has closed its doors, but its spirit is so strong that it is ready to live on in a new form. Artist Ebrahim Bakhshayeshi has created a detailed miniature replica of HAKI's premises, based on which Estonia's first miniature museum will open on March 13 at 1 pm in the studio store Karud ja Pojad. This is an innovative and experimental concept that creates a platform for exhibitions with a small footprint, offering artists a completely new perspective to test and pilot their ideas.
At the opening exhibition of the HAKI Museum, we will present Edward von Lõngus' series "The Many Faces of a Pätsi". The exhibition brings Lõngus' iconic characters to the audience in miniature format, giving them a new context and meaning. In Tartu, this work can be seen in two places, under the Arch Bridge (Kaarsild) and in Micro-Veneetsia, and now, also in the miniature museum. As part of the HAKI Museum exhibition, a thematic sticker sheet and fridge magnets will be released.
5€ from every sale will go to support the construction of the Micro Gallery:
