Book launch of Mirjam Hinn's book on Gallery Night

Presentation of the art book "In and Out of Time and Space", in conversation with art historian Kadri Asmer. Mirjam Hinn (b. 1990) graduated from the Chair of Painting, MA (2018) and the Tartu Higher Art School (2014) at the University of Tartu. She has had a number of solo exhibitions, the most recent of which is "Perspectives in Flux" (2022) in Montesarchio, Italy, and earlier exhibitions mainly in her hometown Tartu, such as "Stagnant Sounds" in Tartu Art House (2018), "High Voltage" in Tartu Art Museum (2019) and "Thousand-Eyed Island" in Tartu Art House (2021). The painter's dynamic and abstract figurative language has become recognisable in his work, with a palette of colours and pure coloured surfaces juxtaposed with brushstrokes that drag. Bright and sometimes vaguely artificial tones, which almost glow, have become the dominant accent.
