PIDU // Siinpool sood: Cocktail Auer with House of Auer (FI)
Cocktail Auer tuleb Eestisse! Drag-kultuuriprojekti Siinpool sood avab Tartus Soome drag-superstaaride trupi House of Aueri etendus Cocktail Auer!
House of Auer on üks Soome kuulsamaid drag-koosseise, kuhu kuuluvad Slaya Bit, Boney Ämmä, Victoria Line ja Yulia Vagina. House of Auer on rabav, pidevalt muutuv ja üllatav drag-esinejate trupp Vantaa äärelinnast. Alates 2016. aastast on nad loonud piireületavat drag-kunsti, mis ühendab vana ja uue, tuttava ja võõra. Nad on üles astunud kõikjal Soomes, sealhulgas Flow festivalil ja üritustesarjal Drag Me To HEL. Eestis on nad varem esinenud Viljandi ajaloo esimesel teadaoleval drag-show’l ja Tallinnas Sveta baaris.
Kabareeõhtute sari Cocktail Auer on inspireeritud nurgatagustest jazzibaaridest, New Yorki uusrikaste dekadentsist ja Vantaa tahumatusest. Oodata on stiilsust, mandumist, camp’i ja glamuuri! House of Aueriga liituvad kohalikud Siinpool sood projektis osalevad drag-kunstnikud.
Sündmust toetavad Soome Instituut ja toetusprogramm TelepART. Projekt on osa Euroopa Kultuuripealinn Tartu 2024 põhiprogrammist.

ENG
Cocktail Auer is coming to Estonia! The drag culture project Siinpool sood will launch their activities in Tartu with a performance by the stunning Finnish drag collective House of Auer!
House of Auer is one of Finland's most famous drag collectives, consisting of members Slaya Bit, Boney Ämmä, Victoria Line, and Yulia Vagina. They are an amazing, constantly changing, and surprising drag ensemble from the suburbs of Vantaa. Since 2016, they have created drag art that crosses boundaries, combining old and new, familiar and unfamiliar. They have performed all over Finland, including at the Flow Festival and the Drag Me To HEL event series. In Estonia, they have previously performed at Viljandi's first-ever known drag show, and at the iconic Sveta Bar in Tallinn.
The cabaret night Cocktail Auer is inspired by seedy jazz bars, New York's neo-rich decadence and Vantaa's honesty. Expect style, decadence, camp, and glamour! House of Auer will be joined on stage by local drag artists participating in the Siinpool sood project.
The event is supported by the Finnish Institute in Estonia and TelepART Mobility Support. The project is part of the main programme of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024.
