PIDU // 67x Naked Swing Band. Tantsupidu Aparaaditehases

Jimbino Vegan on jõud ühendanud Soome bändiga 67x Naked ja nii tuleb 67x Naked Swing Band 2. juulil Tartusse tantsutama koosseisus:

* Jimbino Vegan (klarnet, saksofon ja vokaal - UK)
* Tomi Kettunen (kitarr - FI)
* Phillip Holm (kontrabass - FI)
* Alm Er Gnista (löökriistad ja vokaal - FI)

Tomi on Soome parimate jazzkitarristide seas ja on peamine tegija ning organisaator Helsingi mustlas-jazzi ringkonnas. Phillip töötab Sibeliuse Akadeemasi ning esineb nii folk- kui jazzbändidega Soomes ja kaugemalgi. Rasiporist pärit Alm armastab miksida jazzi tantsu ja poeesiga. Jimbino Vegan on juba üle 30 aasta klarnetit mänginud, hetkel elab ja musitseerib koos maailma parimate jazz-muusikutega New Orleansis. Koos on esinetud paljudel jazzmuusika ja -tantsu üritustel üle maailma.

2. juulil kell 18 esineb bänd Aparaaditehase sisehoovis. Kui sajab, kolib pidu samast hoovis korrus kõrgemale Elutuba Lava Taga (sel juhul kaasa vahetatavad tantsukingad).

Tomi is one of Finland’s top living jazz guitarists and the main organiser behind the Helsinki gypsy jazz scene. Philip often works in the Sibelius Academy and with folk and jazz bands in Finland and abroad. Alm is a performer from Rasipori who mixes percussion and improvised jazz with poetry and dance. Jimbino Vegan has been playing clarinet for 30 years, currently lives and works with some of the worlds’ best jazz musicians in New Orleans. We have all performed at jazz and swing dance festivals around the world.

The main repertoire is new orleans jazz and recreating the infectiously joyful energy and elegant flair of the early jazz with a special Euro-Urgic flavour. Unless you have a thick impenetrable shell the performance will delight your mind, body and soul and leave you changed for the better! If you prefer not to engage with the magic you will still be impressed by their stylish and engaging musical skills and inspiring improvisation.

On July 2 at 6 p.m., the band will perform in the courtyard of Aparaaditehas. If it rains, the party will move from the same courtyard to the Elutuba Lava Taga (in this case, take changeable dance shoes with you).
